| Have TWO girls?? Several people have told me its going to be really Hard getting Sassy & Lola to get along since they are both girls. If you have 2 girls or more, does this seem true? Does it really create that big of a conflict?

| I have not 2, but 3 girls...and they love eachother to pieces...Diva will be 2 in May, Foxxy is 10 months and Duchess(Diva's pup) is 6 months old...understandably, she's the only one that drives the other 2 a little crazy sometimes when she wants to play and they don't.. but they get along just fine!

| girls I have 6 girls and they all get along great. but I know if there is a male in the mix and females in heat it can get bad....I lost my poor Boo boo last year from the females ganging up on her while she was in heat. none of them have ever in all my years done that...but believe me none are left unattended while thats going on...or they are seperated till i get back. girls will be girls....lol. just be safe and watch the heat cycles.

| My first two Yorkies were girls!!! They were the best of friends for 15 years! Samantha was 5 lbs and Amy was 3 lbs. I got Amy at 5 weeks old and 6 months later I got Samantha at 6 months old. They even passed away 6 days apart. But not all girls get along perfectly like Amy and Samantha. IMO, bitch fights are much worse than dog fights. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | My 2 girls get along perfectly. One is more dominant, the smallest one and when they eat she gets a little aggressive. They have even gotten into fights over that but i am always there to take them apart, they ARE worst than dog fights! One time it was hard to take them apart and they are tiny. But 99% of the time they are great with each other, its just with food.

| I think the problem lies with INTACT animals. I plan to have multiple girls one day.

I have 2 girls - they're always together and kiss all the time - the only conflict we have is my oldest Chanel is the BIGGEST TOY HOG She goes so far as to fit THREE (small) toys in her mouth if she can, just to torment her little sister lol | |

| In general, females can get along but it really depends on personality. Over the years I have had several females that turned very aggressive against other females even thought they had got along great as puppies. I agree that the problem is mostly a hormonal thing but sometimes jealousy triggers the fights. |

| I have two females from despicable backgrounds. Got the 3 lb. one first and the 5 lb. next. Rosie, the largest, was immediately very protective of Cocoa, the tiny. If Cocoa chews on a rawhide, (I know they are not the best, but Cocoa is old and need some pleasure. ) Rosie will circle around her to protect her. Have never fought in the 9 yrs. I've had them. Now my boys are a different story.

My furkids Donating Member | My 2 girls get along but, when I first got Lillie (Sadie was 2 yrs) Sadie didn't like her very much for quite some time. Lillie had (and still does) alot of energy...I call her my ADHD puppy! Now they are best friends.
