| ![]() I paid about $100 more to have Jasmine spayed with the laser, but it was well worth the extra money, you don't have to go abck to get the sutures out because they put disolvable ones on the inside and glue the belly shut so it heals within a couple of days when I brought her home she didn't seem like she was in much pain she just slept for a few hours and was back to her normal self again, if and when and I get another baby I would DEF do the laser ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() My Kaylee had laser surgery for her spay. I don't have anything to compare it to but it was I think $60 extra for us. No scar and supposedly it helps in pain and healing time but she was in a lot of pain when we picked her up. I think it was 3 days for her to get back to normal. Being that she was older (almost 4) it usually takes longer to heal so maybe it helped, hard to say.

| ![]() I have had my two male cats and one male yorkie neutered and they all had the laser. I think it does cut healing time, the scar looks better, and I hear its safer compared to a cut. they were up and about in 2 days but I watched them for about a week and no bath for 2 weeks. my girl had 2 tumors removed they cut her and I did not like all the swelling she went through, stitches being too tight and worrying about infection. I would say laser surgery is better.

| ![]() I had lazer surgery done.. also my vet docks tails and dew claws with the lazer... healing time is less.. less painful.. and a nicer cut.. less stitches.. Last edited by mypreciouspups; 03-12-2008 at 03:17 PM. |

| ![]() We went with the laser for Samson's neutering 2 weeks ago. He was up and running around the next day, no cone, no stitches, and he healed really fast.

| ![]() I wish I had done the laser with Summerlin. She was in pretty bad shape for 3 or 4 days. I think it might have been better on her. At least I will know for the next time. It will probably be several months, though, because our new girl, Savannah (mini poodle) needs to wait a little longer ![]()
