could this be the start of labor I noticed earlier something that is or looks like mucus on the puppy pad. She isn't showing any other signs of being in labor. Just wondering if this could be my only sign that she is about to have her babies. Also her tummy was very cool to the touch this afternoon now it feels like she has been laying on a heating pad. Any advice is welcome

Usually she will start rooting around and "nesting" in her bed and start panting when labor starts. Do you know her due date?

She has done very little in moving her blankets. She is due on or around the 15 that would be 65 days. I do understand and know that it could be before or after that day

I would take her temp morning and night. Normal is 101 to 102, but usually when it drops to 100 or less, labor will start within 12 to 24 hours.

labor I would start watching her close at 60-61 days , normal gestation is 61 days, and the post above about taking her temperature is good advice.
