| Size of Yorkie Hello to all ok I have been using the yorkiepassion site to est. Chewy's adult size, well the chart stops at a certain age Chewy is now 7 months and almost 4.5lbs so will he keep growing? I am not sure there have been people that say small dogs stop growing around 7-8 months and then some are saying 1 year. I am thinking he will 5.5lbs any thoughts?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It's really hard to say, but probably not more than that. Some stop sooner and don't grow much after 6 months. I wouldn't buy any expensive clothes until after a year.

| Possibly, but every yorkie is sooo different! Most small dogs I've known will not have any big growth spurts after about 9 months, but will continue to "fill out"

Just like human babies each one is so different. My vet said that early big growth spurts means they'll only do some 'filling out' 6 mos-1 year. Some take awhile or grow slower so they'll continue growing up to 1 year.

| You will get every kind of various answers, wish I knew as well? I buy new clothes and about the time I think he is full grown, here he goes again....growing. Could be the sweet roll he took out of my hand, chased him before he could eat much
