I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I never new that, I think black dogs are beautiful, especially with some bling like a rhinestone collar. I don't suppose the movie The Omen did them any good.

| I hate how Hollywood portay black dogs. They may look tough but I'm sure have the most gentle souls like any other dogs. |

| I volunteer at our local shelter and I can tell you this is true. We get black labs all the time and they can be the best dogs in the world but people pass them up all the time. I breaks the heart. Its also true for black cats, they are even harder to adopt out. When someone brings in a black cat or a black dog we know that the odds of them being adopted out is slim to none. |

| I think it is because some people think black dogs are scary or mean. I got a black dog from the shelter when I was younger and at first my mother said we could not have that one because he looked mean but after she spent a few min. with him she was in love. I love black dogs.
