| HELP! I think my baby has ADD... Hi, I am soooo worried. My baby is great, she plays fetch, she goes outside and does her business, she gives me tons of kisses. But.....everytime I just want to sit with her on the coach she goes crazy, bitting and rough playing. What should I do to calm her down. Please help, I know I am not the only one out there. I know yorkies are very hyper but sometimes I just want her to relax with me. By the way she is almost 4 months old. |

| You need to really play hard for a few minutes and tire her out. Have a 10 minute obedience training session and then 10 minutes of throwing a toy for her to retrieve and she should be ready for a nice bit of "down" time and just kiccking back on the couch. |

| There must be something in the moon/sun cycle because Macy is a wild puppy tonight as well. She even jumped pn my lap while I was eating and tried to eat my chinese food! I might share a lot with her, bed space, hubbys attention, covers, etc, but food oh no that's mine!!

| Your puppy is still a, well, a puppy...she is showing her Yorkie puppy personality.....Actually, she is a bit young to expect quiet, well-behaved puppy.. She will probably be responive to obedience training when she is old enough...In the meantime, try wearing her out with play but do not chase her..Yorkies have been hurt playing that way. Sounds like you are already playing and maybe you can add another game ot two... I have several dogs/puppies so my younguns are playmates to each other..They grow up so fast.. Jooin the club! My dog is like that too. And I have said several times here on YT that I think she inherited her mommas ADHD, lol I havent figured out a way to calm mine down yet and she is 7 months. But I love her energy! You really should enjoy it while you can because when she gets older you'll miss her crazy hyperness. My 1 1/2 year old chihuahua used to be hyper and now she has mellowed out a lot.

| I have found this to be helpful: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/P...952/focus.html It comes of THIS page that has helped me teach Sully a couple of new things.

| Linus has been running around like a madman for the past couple of days...so I went to Petsmart and bought a "bumble ball" thing. I turned it on for 10 minutes and he ran around the house barking at it and hunting it, and then he passed out! He hasn't been this calm all week!

| We went on a shopping excursion for our babies today. We went to Petsmart and they got everything that they wanted (treats, toys, whatever!) I feel like such a good (and now poor) mommy. But can I just tell you those bumble ball things are so amazing! Linus is obsessed. Next investment is a talking treat ball...I bet that will wear him out too (or just make him fat!)

| I swear Maggie has ADD!! She's always very playful but will bring me one toy and play with it for a few seconds and then go get another one and play with it and go get another. Within 3 minutes, she'll have all her toys out of her basket and scattered all over the floor. |
