| I can't find the breeders section I am hand raising four babies that are teething and wanted to know would it be alright to put greenies in their crib to knaw on? They are 2 weeks and 2 days old.

| I don't give greenies at all. I think they are too easily chewed up and swallowed. I suggest durable, non-edible chew toys for the puppies

| I do not feed greenies. Not even the new "safe" formula. There are a lot of good safe alternatives for chewing. One of the best and most safe are "shank" bones -- the little round marrow bones that are hollow in the center. Buy a shank cut of meat at your favorite grocery store, make a pot of good ole home made soup with the shank, clean the bone and give it to the kids. We have some lying around the house that have been chewed on and washed for a couple of years and still don't show any signs of teeth marks. |

| NO GREENIES! They can block intestines if too large of a piece is swallowed.

| a lot of people feed greenies and a lot don't. I don't necessarily think they are much more dangerous than other chew treats out there...any treat has the potential to cause choking or a blockage. I don't feed them because my dog chews them up too fast...they become more of a quick treat than a chewy. I like Merrick Bully stix.

| You can't get them at Walmart. I know petsmart sells bully stix..they aren't merrick though. I get mine from a local pet boutique or feed store.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I found some on e-bay. None of the local stores had them. It's worth it, one stick last all week, he absolutely loves them. I buy the 6" sticks.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I reread your post didn't realize your babies were so young. I remember seeing non-edible teething bones for puppies at Target. Good luck with your little ones, why do you have them so young?
