| Makes me sick They ran a story on our local news about people having their dog's ears pierced to wear earrings. Of course the first one they showed was a yorkie. COme on people, this is going too far.

| I would never pierce my dogs ears, why put them through the pain (I know it's only like a second) when they don't even ask for it, plus the risk of them scratching at it or what if it becomes infected.

| AT first the idea kind of appealed to me then my second thought was "Why would I want to do something like that to Adie - It wouldn't do anything for her health and she sure wouldn't choose it herself!" |

The Yorkie they showed, the earrings were weighing her ears down...all of this time we spend helping them get their ears up and then do something dumb like that, I don't get it.

| Actually it might be nice...I would not to it.. but, a pretty earing with a nice bow ...hmm.... it could be another way of ID your pet if he/she gets lost but mine would pull it out ..or it would come out during playing. I cant even keep bows in there hair..and I think those bows get tangle and hard to get out..If you take care of it like the bows. I see nothing wrong with it
