| Help!! Looking For Breeder In The Houston, Tx Area As most of you now know, my Yorkie Coty escaped from our home while I was on vacation back in May, and is still missing. I would like to get another Yorkie to add to my family and as a companion for my 14 yr. old Yorkie-Poo, Tyson. I love having 2 dogs and when Tyson goes to glory I would like to get another dog then as well. A friend recommended a breeder (who bought a puppy for herself, her mom and then referred another friend from this same breeder) in the Huntsville, TX area (about an hour north of Houston) that has a male left from a litter (he's now about 7 weeks old, I think). I believe that the breeder was also keeping a male for herself. I looked at a picture of the 2 of them and one isn't so cute! . I hope it's not the one she's holding for me. She's charging $900 for the puppy and that is a "discounted" rate. I don't want or need a "show quality" dog. Just a quality, healthy dog that will bring happiness to my family (and that I think is cute). Long story short, can you all recommend a quality breeder in the area? I drove to San Antonio, TX 5 years ago to get Coty, so I don't mind traveling a bit outside of the area. P.S. How do I "gently" tell this woman that I don't want the puppy if in fact, he's not the cute one? I'm supposed to send her a deposit next week for the dog. I guess this is a dilemma when you don't get to pick a puppy of your own choosing when there's more in the litter to choose from. I'd appreciate your help! Thxs. Friends.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Just tell her that you still looking and you know what you want and won't settle for less. I'd be honest with her. There are several breeders in my town. If you're interested, pm me. 3 breeders have pregnant bitches right now and one has 2 pups that are about 3 weeks old.
