| DONhold it in BABY!!!! Ok, I have a problem. When I take Sadie out...ANY WHERE she refuses to got potty.... ALL DAY LONG!. The poor thing I'm waiting for her to explode! I live far from just about everything. There is no place to go for just an hour or so. I went to a friends house yesterday. She lives 45 min away. I tried having Sadie go on pee pads in my friends house, I tried taking her out. I even tried pulling off the road into rest stop on the way home to give her more time to go. NOTHING works with her. She went 7 hours and she is only 18 weeks... poor thing looked like she would explode by the time I got her home. Any tips you have to get my baby to GO POTTY when we are out would be a huge help!!!!

| I don't have a solution either. My Topper will wait the entire 7 hour road trip up to Illinois to see my family before he will go. Believe me it isn't because I don't stop....personally I think I have hit every Pilot gas station from here to there and I know exactly which ones have very clean rest rooms!!!! |

| When we went on a 10 hour road trip, I took some spray with me that encourages a dog to urinate in the sprayed area. (I got it at PetsMart; not sure the name of it). But I would spray the stuff on the grass area I wanted her to go and it worked. She would sniff around the area and sniff and sniff and then she would go. I kept her on a leash so that she was limited to the area I sprayed. I used the spray at home, 1st so she was used to the idea of the spray before we went on the trip.

| Would one of her "previously used" pads work? It would have her own scent on it?

| Maybe but I would feel horrible bringing in a used pad to my friends house. As it was I tried to take her out side and my friend told me it was ok to let her go inside. She has no dogs so I tried to be as polite as possible about it.

| Jeanie is the same, and it is super frustrating when going out. Or she holds it and then when she gets excited, by accident in their house, she'll go. OH BROTHER!! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | That urine stuff does work well. It's actually concentrated dog urine and has a dropper in it to use just a drop. I used it once upon a time when I had a new pup that didn't want to use the pee pads. Worked like a charm.
