ok so my husband had a phone call on saturday that a women may have seen her at douglas and 86th street, tried to get her and she ran toward urbandale golf and country club.

we have a dog communicator today and she says that lexy was taken in by a women in her 50's northwest of where she went missing which was hickman and 86th so that means it would be on the north side of douglas and west of 86th street ..a sub maybe behind that country club....the lady told us that the women had found lexy and she was almost dead...so she is trying to nurse her back to health.....the lady told us it was a grey house (who knows) that was by brick house..she said it was with in 1.5 miles of where she went missing. my husband is on a road trip for hockey for 10 days, so i flew home to be with my family in michigan, i couldn't bare to be in our apartment. i would have went nuts without her and him. we are just asking if anyone knows that area, or could pass out any flyers, we both will be home on monday, now i wish i would have stayed but i have alraedy lost 9 lbs and probably would have ended up in the hospital if i were alone. i can email a flyer. the lady told us she doesnt get the "feeling" that these people get the paper....... if you can or know anyone around there please call me 734-751-7677.... thank you

how big is that area by urbandale golf and country club...i do not know i am from michigan and have only spent 1 full hockey season with my husband in iowa which was about 7 months..so i have NO clue...

Not sure how many miles that would be -- behind the country club - could take you to at least 100th Street. and over to Meredith Dr.

Do you have fliers I could pick up from friends or that you could email me & I could print out? My color isn't working well on my printer right now. Plus it so frigid cold here, who knows how much people are going out. I can try to help -- but things are crazy. Call me or email me or PM.

Do you think you could call the paper again.. the people who took her in, may not get the paper, but maybe some one they know does.. and word could get around... you can try that too. you have nothing to lose...

I am very anxious for you.. and will pray hard that you find your girl.
Or even say you would be willing to buy the people a new yorkie... that might make them want to do the right thing.. just a suggestion.. I know and I am sure you so heartbroken you have so many things happening in your mind..

Yters will all pray for you and your lexi....

I agree. If someone does have her maybe they fell in love with her. $5000 is a lot, enough to buy 3 yorkies but if a person has her they prob. don't think they will get one like her. I think it will help if you tell them you will even help them find a Yorkie of their own.

I don't think lzpeaches is online right now -- but I've spoken with her numerous times today -- I probably drove her nuts with all my ideas.

Tomorrow morning they are going to be on one of the radio staion here - 1040 AM - somehow this station can be heard hundreds of miles away ( when Ronald Reagan lived in Des Moines in the 1930s he was a newscaster on this station)

I think she is trying to find a tv reporter to do a story to reach folks who don't take the paper. The story on Sat. was on the front page -- but there are so many people who only take the Sunday paper.

We'll keep praying

Thank you all for caring about their situation.

Also, forgot to tell you a couple of other things - maybe these could be some specific things to pray about.

Her husband, the hockey player left on a 10-day road trip. These guys are the - oh, I don't know the right term, but the extension of the Dallas Stars. And these guys were really helpful in searching for Lexy.

She & her hubby are not from here. They don't know the town & suburbs. lzpeaches said she really has never ventured far from their apartment in a different suburb from where Lexy went missing, so this is making the situation more difficult.

Also, in 5 days lzpeaches lost 10 pounds worrying over Lexy - pray for her health.
