Found yorkie update! My daughter was just petting "Little Mister" (as we have dubbed him) and found what we think may be a microchip. We had him scanned the day we found him, and they did not find anything, but we do feel something. The vet I just talked to said there are several different kinds, and sometimes one scanner will not find it. We are on our way to have him scanned again. Keep your fingers crossed.

ok, back home. He does have a chip, and we got his #, called avid, and guess what? He was never registered. Why would you have your dog micro chipped, but not register the chip???? Anyway, we can call Monday, and they will give us information on the lot number. I was so excited too!!

At least it's a lead. Hopefully there's a good reason why it's not a registured chip. I know someone that had their dog microchiped and thought that the vet did the registuring. It wasn't until I pointed out that they were sopose to send the paper in their self, that they knew to do anything more than take him to the vet and have the procedure done. I'm not sure if the vet wasn't clear enough or if the hubby didn't understand the instructions
