Smokie is have surgery this morning on her ear and I am just beside myself. She is our kitty and we saved her from the killing shelter. The vet said they will keep her until Fri because when they remove this tumor thing they have to do scans and make sure it is not in her brain.

I have wondering if one of the dogs hurt as Maggie and Oscar my daughter's dog (we are keeping until she gets out of school ) chase her. I mean this thing was not there and we wake up and it is there and she is screaming in pain she woke me up at 4 am. I knew I should have made sure she was in a safer place. Oh the vet said it could be a tumor or somthing from an injury so heck I just do not know I just heard parts of what he said as they were wisking Smokie away. She is traumatized I know the last time she was ever in a cage was at that stinking pound. My poor baby... I hope she knows we are coming back to get her.

Smokie came home today... she had a hematoma on her ear. No infection and she is going to be OK.

She saw me and started meowing big time and just clug to me and those claws are sharp ones too.

Smokie is the Blk/Wht Annie is in front she also was taken from the pound

Thanks .. she was so glad to be home. Now she can go back to laying on the kitty tower and watch the mice sneak into the house. She does not know she has a job to do. LOL I saved them both thinking they would be barn kitties and hmmm they never left the inside of the house as I enjoy their purring and heck they can be house mousers right but wrong again the Yorkies are the ones to get the mice

Prayers going up for Smokie that she makes a full recovery. Poor girl, I hope they gave her something for the pain until she has surgery. Please let us know how everything turns out.

I am glad your smokie is ok, my pups are my world but I would be lost with out my cats.

I would be in total loss with out her. She is so sweet.

Tracy she is ok .. was a hematoma on her ear. Only way you can tell is her ear looks all wrinkly and shrunken just odd looking but we are not telling Smokie as she would be so embarrassed

I Loved the pic of Smokey and Annie. It's as though Smokie is saying, "I'm the Alpha cat in this house, those Yorkies do my leg work, I'm too cool to chase mice." So glad she's home safe and sound.
