| If I were you, I would definetely either go down there or call them to let them know if you are interested in adopting Yorkies. A few months ago, I saw a Yorkie in a West Memphis shelter. I called and emailed numerous times without one response from them. I was not impressed at all for a facility that is a kill shelter and does not return calls to someone wanting to adopt a dog. I hope that Yorkie got a home because he was there for more than 3 weeks, I know this because the one and only time I got a real person on the phone told me he was still there and he would have to have one of the "adoption people" call me. Never got a call. Not Cool. They could have at least let me know he had a home. Stepping off my soapbox...if I lived closer, I would have went there in person, and even thought about it a time or two, but a 5 hour drive and him not be there was too much of a gamble.

| I just have to wonder who buys dogs from people like this. It says a lot of the dogs are ill and may have to be put down. They clearly can't be breeding healthy puppies, so who is buying?

YT Addict | She says the dogs were living in dirty conditions. She also says some of them are sick and may need to be put down. Poor dogs have to loose their lives because of these sick people

Though I can somewhat understand the last theory...By getting that pup- at least that pup has a chance at a decent loving life...Kind of a catch 22.. That is why it is hard for me to judge people when they do buy like this....I just prefer to keep trying to educate educate educate... Joyce

| OH that is wonderful that those babies were saved. I used to live in Wynne, Arkansas and spent lots of time in Memphis. My husband and I loved it there. I too would be interested in knowing if there were any Yorkies there for adoption. Keep us posted on what you hear. Shelly
