| feeding ice cream? For SIX pups? Mazey has SIX puppies. she is a first time mom, should I be giving her ice cream or anything else to help her milk suppliment? |

| They do sell ice cream for dogs, I think it's called frosty paws and you can get it at the store in the ice cream section.. |

| She should be on a calcuim supplement. She should be having three extra meals a day of wet puppy food along with her dry puppy food. I usually add a tablespoon of cottage cheese to one meal a day. I never give my mama's ice cream but some people do. Your vet should give you a calcuim supplement for her. |

| I give my momma's a teaspoon of cottage cheese and raspberry tea leaves. This works great. Brewers yeast is great. And yogurt drops enriched with vitamins, is great. I have read and my vet told me you don't want to give the momma dog too much calcium because it can give her milk fever.
