| An Eye Opener... I have been reading these things quite a few places... It scares the crap out of me, and has made me just think about preparing Roxy's food myself!!! This is not the first time I have seen this, and it makes me sick to even think that I might be feeding this to MY BABY!!! Please, inform yourself, and make a decision.... Let me all know what you think??? Because its been bothering me for QUITE SOME TIME NOW... http://www.dogs-4life.com/does-your-...ized-dog-.html There are other ones just like this... many different sites that say this kind of info... feel free to tell me any other good ones you find!!! Your friends... Jenny & Roxy!!!

| I don't know about other dog foods, but Canidae which I feed my dogs doesn't use those parts of the animals. Here is the list of ingredients -- http://www.canidae.com/ingredients/thefinest.html |

| To tell you the truth TLC, I believe it too, with all the things that go on in the world, its not hard for me to believe that they do this at all... It makes me sick that they would, therefore, I dont want to believe it... But I have just read it so many different places... Its hard to deny anymore... Plus it makes you think what they DO with all those dogs at shelters that they Euthanize, and this is the "cheapest" way for them to do it... WHICH MAKES ME SICK... theyre so worried about saving a buck, they dont care about taking 10 years off our dogs lives... I think after this bag of dog food, Roxy is getting homemade stuff..... I am just worried about her little tummy. I believe there are some good natural dog foods out there, like I said most of them are commercial ones that are bad, but to tell you the truth, I just dont like chancing it... I want my mind at ease...

| Food we eat is safe for all animals. It's honestly very scarey to think what they have to do to foods to get it to be dog food Homecooking is simple, plain, variety, supplements - there are lots of recipes |

| I make Roxy her own little cupcakes... and I make her own Ice Cream treats too... She loves them... But she has a problem digesting some stuff, even the Ice Cream (its frozen vanilla yogurt) made her get diarrhea. It scares me to change her diet because she seems to always get it when I do....

| I can't believe I didnt bring this up sooner. Its been bothering me even before I got Roxy!!! I am more than happy to share it with you, and also, to get your opinions... I say keep spreading the word. I have told most of the ppl I know, especially right after I started reading it... But you guys love your dogs, and I wish I would have thought to post sooner... But late is better than never I suppose.

| Yes, I do know it was definitely true...not sure if it's still going on or not now. They also use restaurant grease in commercial kibbles (rendered fats). There is all kinds of nasty stuff in most kibble & canned foods. Another reason why I choose to feed a raw diet. There is a book all about the horrors of commercial pet food but I can't remember the name right now

| rendering plants are all too real!! Yes, this is unfortunately true! there are rendering plants all over the USA and that is where the BY-PRODUCTS come from!! I would NEVER feed my babies anything with by-products. Mine only get the human grade ingredients made in America!! I don't cook so homecooking for my dogs is out of the question. The Life's Abundance is what my girls eat and they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! |
