| taping ears? ok, so i just read a thread about floppy ears, and read about taping the ears? i dont know what that means, and um, i wouldnt know where to start doing it.so any help would be much appreciated, but then i think that he has floppy ears, and he looks cute, i might like, maybe one ear up and the other down? that wouold be kewl

| I just kept massaging Dolce's ear to make them stand because the tape looked like it would be uncomfortable. I like floppy ears too though. |

| If you search this site for "taping", there is a link with diagrams. It is really easy and not at all uncomfortable if done right. Fold the ear forward so the sides form a taco shell shape. Don't let the sides touch, keep them a bit apart. Then wrap a piece of scotch tape around the ear to hold the taco shape in place. Keep it in for several days as long as baby is tolerating it. With Gracie it only took 24 hours. With Holly it took repeated applications of 1-3 days, but within a week her ear was standing.
