| Regret? Did you ever regret what you named your furbaby? Do you just suck it up or did you change it? Do you change it close to what it was or just whatever you want? I just seems the name doesnt fit the baby. |

| No. I like all my pet's names and they seem like they fit their names now. I usually just pick a name I like whether it suits them at the time or not...and eventually they grow into their name

| The only thing I kinda regret, but prolly wouldnt if my Mom didnt make such a big deal is the fact I hyphonated her last name as my last name and my bf's last name... He DID help me buy her, and he loves her so much (more than me sometimes)... he was actually mad at me one time and told me the only good thing about spending time with me was being with Roxy... So, then my Mom saw her AKC papers... and she flipped out... Cause she thinks that he will get Roxy if something happens to me... (they're already ready for my death, isnt that nice?) So I told her I would sign a paper and she could get it notarized saying that if something happens to me then she could have Roxy... See, my bf loves her a lot, but my Mommy loves her a lot too, but I know my Mom is more financially stable to take care of her and wouldnt hesitate to get her to the vet right away... My BF loves her, but he's more obsessed with being the doting dad more than making sure she's healthy... For Example... He doesnt want to yell when she pees on the floor (which she doesnt really do since the diapers), doesnt want to give her her medicine because he doesnt want her to be mad, doesnt want her to walk by herself, gives her a treat for no reason at all, always wants to feed her stuff she shouldnt have all the time when she cries... He makes me do all the "bad guy" stuff.

I love the name Bella, and would never change it now but OMG I had no idea how popular it was/is and then 2 of our other dogs have been named after 2 of our deceased dogs and I hated that, however both times I was over ruled 6 to 1 so I gave in.

| Yep. I changed the name of my Maltese. I had a hard time picking her name. I didn't want to spend forever calling her a name I didn't like and that didn't fit her, so I just changed it. They catch on so quickly to new names... |

| I've thot about changing Tinkerbelle's name because she got WAY bigger than she was supposed to and Tinkerbelle was a tiny little fairy. But I just call her Tink or Tinkerbrat and I think it will be fine. Everyone here wouldn't know what to think if I changed the Tinkerbrat's name now! |

| Well...I've never actually regretted a name I chose, but 3 of my girls were 2 years old when I got them and already had names...they're actually their registered names...and I didn't care for them. So I changed their names: From Spiderbabe (Babe) to Brooklyn Babe From Ella to Mikayla Cinderella From Dira to Hadley Dira They've never had any problem changing to their new names...if you say it enough and look right at them when you're saying it...they learn it. They're smart little butts... |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Nope! Not here! I have however, RESCUED dogs and I didn't particularly care for their names...but they were already older dogs, so I never changed them. I just didn't think it was right to change a name that they had been called for years. I know it would feel weird if someone did that to me

| My Tank is named soooo right but Lana.... Shes so delicate and sweet and such a princess. A spoiled, pampered, snotty, first class queen. And Lana was the nice innocent local girl who dated Superman in highschool then married Lex luthor and went bad. It just doesnt work. And Im SICK of people mispronouncing her name. I just cant find a name I think works, and I have to admit my husband doesnt want to change it. Poo on him. |

| No, I actually chose Archie's name years before I got him (in fact it was the middle name of another family pet), so he could never be anything but Archibald to me. However, I did regreat the AKC name I gave him, and since I have yet to file his papers, I have now changed it for the official papers.

If you can find a name that you all agree on change it. She's still young. She'll catch on quick.

Or you could go with Savanna, Anna, Vanna, Tana, (or even Hannah Montana LOL), if you want something that sounds the same. But really she will catch on even if it's totally different sounding. As for your husband I have a similar situation. Mazey came with the name Lulu. I didn't think it fit her, but my husband liked it. So he calls her Lulu, but the rest of us call her Mazey. She answers to both no problem. Husband's can be stubborn that way . It's just like your kids sometimes they have special nicknames from certain people.
