Chip turns into wolf dog when we leave sometimes and literally howls like a wolf. It's hysterical! Smokey doesn't do it, I was just curious as to if anyone else's yorkie howls?

Yep Cody James does when we're playing or if i leave or if he see's someone he thinks is a trespasser LOL

Alphy does if I take my Golden out of the house without him and he's left behind. He'll sit on the back of the couch throw his head back and howl. It's cute.

Yes, my Lucky howls and barks almost every morning when I leave for work. It's not like he's left alone or locked in an xpen or bedroom or anything. He's got 2 playmates and full run of the house. No one else howls, just him. It gives me a smile every day

The picture in my avatar shows one of my puppies howling. She was hysterical! Quite the character. We called her our little hound dog, lol.

Yes one of my pups use to howl when he wanted attention.I was so surprised when it first happened I had to slow down my heart rate before I could register it was not a wolf or something wrong

.and he was the first one picked (personality,personality)I miss him so.

Bella howls its pretty random.......never know when its coming but when she does I laugh til I cry she throws that lil head up in the air and goes at it...Diggy stares like what in the world and he has even tried mocking her but its not a howl by any means.....its a "Diggy sound"

I hadn't noticed that....it's adorable!

Trace, my first yorkie, would howl if someone came over and neglected to acknowledge his presence. It was a hoot. Neither Ramsey nor Reese have ever howled.

Toto howls all of the time. Especially when he comes in from outside after taking care of "business" and he thinks that I have forgotten to give him his treat. He looks so funny. He throws his head back and holds his right paw up and goes at it.

two of mine howl when they hear me come home. they stop when they hear the door open. my little sweet pea will howl at me when she is standing in the hallway and i have just come home.

Bella does, Coco hasn't yet. She does it when she doesn't feel she is being paid attention to. It is hysterical and almost pathetic sounding for a howl
