|  Hello, we're new here My husband and I got our Yorkie on October 12 and named him Captain Jack. He was six weeks old - I know most of you will be upset at that but at the time we didn't realize that usually wasn't done. He's in great health, very active and happy and we haven't had any serious problems with him. We found YT not too long after and have loved reading the threads. We've gotten a lot of great info here and are excited to join the community!

| Welcome to YT!!! I didnt know zip about Yorkies and got my first one when she was 5 weeks old. She grew up to be a whopping 3 lbs!! She was the best dog I have ever had. They were the 15 most enjoyable years of my life. I know you will enjoy your little one too!!! |

|  His name is from Pirates of the Caribbean, the Johnny Depp character. We talked about naming him Hagrid (from the Harry Potter series), but my husband preferred Captain Jack. Jack was an early Christmas present.

| Welcome to YT! My husband and I love Paris, TN...we almost bought some property on the lake there a few years ago. We still go for visits every now and then...it's a nice little town! |
