| How dangerous is it for Joey to sleep in bed with me? Well, most everyone knows the story of us almost losing Joey (my fiance stepped on him). He is 100% recovered (or so it seems), and he sleeps in his bed next to our bed every night. The last few nights, I have brought him up into our bed to watch tv with us, and he falls into the deepest sleep. He is so happy with us! He is almost 4 months and a little over 2lbs. Giving his recent history, I know it isn't fair of me to want him to sleep in the bed with us. It just doesn't sound safe...but I do notice that a lot of the Yorkie owners on here have their pups sleep with them. Thoughts? |

| Its probably not the safest thing if they are too little to jump from the bed. Also they can fall off. However I have a 5 month old and a 6 month old yorkie and they both sleep in our bed.

| My coco is almost 5 months and 2lbs. She never used to sleep with me because I wouldn't allow it. After a difficult breakup with my boyfriend last week, I let her sleep with me for comfort. We both love it. Except sometimes the little bugger will jump down to play and go potty and eat. Then she will whine to come back to bed. She hasn't gotten injured from the jumping but I am getting her a ramp just in case. I think with Joey maybe you should give it a couple of months, considering his recent injuries. He may not be strong enough to jump down yet, and he might hurt himself again. Or you could sleep with him on the floor.

| Maximus is 4.5 lbs now but he has been sleeping with me since he was 4 months and 3 lbs. so maybe buy him a ramp so he can get down but otherwise they will move with you...OR actually they will move YOU where they want you..as I have stated before Maximus is gracious enough to give my bf and I a corner of what has become HIS bed!!!

| Tucker is 3 months (tomorrow!) and 3.5 pounds. He has been sleeping with me since the second night we got him, he was terrified of a thunder storm so I took him into bed. He slept so well, I kept him with me. He sleeps between the pillows, it's his favorite spot. Except for the snoring (his) it's been wonderful having him on the bed.

| bad experience for me.. the first time.. lol The first time I Let Ginger sleep in my bed.. I almost killed her I had taken a sleeping pill (long story).. and i had fallen asleep.. and my tendancy is to put my leg on something.. like a pillow in between my legs.. or put my leg on my boyfriend .. But she had crawled inbetween that space.. and i ended up putting my leg on her.. and i didn't know cause i was knocked out cold lol.. my boyfriend was the one who woke up (thankfully).. and woke me up cause Ginger was under my leg and the blankets gasping for air.. i felt like a terrible person... but Ginger forgave me.. Ginger still sleeps with us.. but either sleeps at the edge of the bed.. or on my head lol.. But I sort of want them to sleep in their own bed.. Any ideas? |

| Rocky curls up right next to me at night! I love it! I did make a little "ramp" out of some decorative pillows but he prefers to skip the pillows and jump right to the floor ! As much as I have tried, he just jumps, jumps, jumps! |

| Bruce sleeps on the pillow next to my head, he always has...It is probably not the safest but he hardly moves. It works out well too because if he needs to go outside he need only bark right in my ear (which he does do)...Once before he was a little better with the potty training I awoke to a foul odor and he pooped just inches from my face...That was not a good experience! |

| Codie and Katie both sleep w/ me and Jim. Katie sleeps on my pillow right next to my face (so she can sneak in some kisses every once in a while) and Codie sleeps between me and Jim UNDER the blanket - it's so cute! He loves to be cuddled under the blanket. I can't imagine not sleeping w/ my babies because I've been doing it since the first day I got them. They would be hurt if I didn't put them on the bed at night. Plus, they whine until I do!!

| Recently Chloe started sleeping with us. We have a king size bed and we all huddle in the middle so there is plenty of room and I am not too worried about chloe falling off. She likes to be right by us. But every situation is different and you need to make sure you feel really good about it before you decide to give it a try.
