| You can still do it. The only difference is when they are older they have to be under anesthesia. I've heard it can get a bit expensive though.

| Yes you definitely can. It's the best time to do it since she'll already be asleep and will be recovering anyway. I had a friend whose yorkie's dewclaw either grew back or wasn't removed at all before and she had it removed when he was neutered. He just wore a little bandage on his leg for a few days. I definitely recommend removing it as it can get caught on something and tear...and then you'll have to remove it anyway.

| I asked my girlfriend this question the other day. She said that my fletch could have his dentail, neuter and dew claws done all together next year and its less risk to him by having everything he'd need anestethia (sp?) for all done at once. I want his dew claws done bc the poor guy gets caught up a lot on blankets and stuff, not my other boy though. I know its painful for them though (the surgery) so I dont know which is the lesser of 2 evils... I dont want him to get hurt one day bc it got caught and ripped off or something, ya know?
