| Housecleaning: a chore or adventure?? I dont know about any of you but house cleaning in this house is an adventure. I tried to lock all (3 of them) up while I clean but that didnt work since I do most of my cleaning late at nite due to the fact that I have OCD and can not sleep unless everything is perfect. But anyway, if I lock the dogs up, preslee cries like some one is killing her, Memphis barks, and Recon barks and growls cause the other 2 are annoying the hell outta him. SO I dont lock them up, instead I clean around them or at least try to. Making the bed: Kick Recon off the bed, pull all blankets and sheets off, take them to the laundry room in basement, while walking to the basement door try not to pull sheets too hard since Preslee is riding on the blanket trying to kill it. Come back upstairs and greet all 3 dogs like I have been gone for a week, Kick Recon off bed, put bottom sheet on, put top sheet on.........when everything is clean, kick recon off bed and put blankets all back on bed. Sweeping the floors: Sweep very gently and make sure I dont knock out Preslee who is trying to kill the broom. carry dust pan with me so Memphis doesn't attack the dust bunny pile and spread it back out. Remove Preslee from dustpan before she gets thrown in the garbage with the dust bunnies. Vacuum: Turn on vacuum and wait for memphis to get on, proceed with vacuuming trying hard not to suck up preslee as she tries to attack memphis who is riding on the vacuum. Listen to recon the whole time barking at the vacuum. Does anyone else have this much FUN (sense the sarcasm) while cleaning house?? |

| Oh this is only the half of it too. You should see when I do laundry. Its a mad dash to who can get the dryer sheet first, Memphis or Recon. I swear dryer sheets are like crack for my dogs. They just cant get enough of them. Memphis has gotten smart though. He waits til I open the dryer door and jumps in and roots through all the clean clothes looking for the dryer sheet. Then when I am folding clothes, Preslee feels the need to try to attack everything I fold. She will sit next to me and growl and bark at everything. Like I said, its and adventure in my house. |

| Why does some of this sound so familiar? Only you have it x 3!!!! How do you ever get any of it done? You caused me to remember something from years and years ago. When I was growing up, we had a little chihuahua (about 6 pounds) and she liked to sleep in the dirty clothes piled next to the washer waiting to be put in the next load, so we always had to be very careful that she didn't get washed, too! I remember reading later about a woman that washed a teacup chihuahua! Gave me chills! |

| LOL...that was just toooo cute...the way you told that story! You described it all so well and fun that I could picture it all in my mind as I read and sat here laughing! I only have one dog to help me clean house so it's not quite as adventurous as you! That is so funny...the one riding on the vacuum and the other one trying to attack! Maddie is soooo scared of the vacuum, she always hides while it's out. Anyway, thanks for the fun story...still laughing! |

| 3 yorkies sounds just like the cure for OCD - I'll suggest it to my clients! We only have 2 yorkies and they go sleep on the bed when we clean. You know like: "Nah, we don't participate in cleaning, we have people doing the hard work"

Only one of my 3 dogs is a yorkie. Besides the yorkie I have a cairn terrier/chinese crested and I have a lab/springer spaniel mix. And let me tell you, if I could I would shave the lab/springer bald if I didn't have a conscience cause he sheds sooooooooo bad. | |

| hahaha it sounds like cleaning at my house Simon and Hallie always think I'm playing. Hallie attacks the vacuum, Simon stands on the broom and goes for a ride when I try to sweep and they both think the swiffer duster is another dog to play with. It is always an adventure. I'm amazed that I can get my bed made and my laundry done |

| HAHAHAHAHA! That is funny! How you ever cleaned a bathtub or a car....alone?...LOL! Jeremiah and Jane are always in a tub getting dirty and I am like might as well kill two birds with one stone. And when it comes to the car and I start to clean the seats inside why do I find prints of little wet paws on the seats...hmm...I wonder where those came from... . Thanks for sharing Kelly.
