| Weather and Yorkie In about a week I will be traveling with my Yorkie to a different state? We live in Missouri and it hardly ever gets colder than 20 degrees but that is at night when he isn't outside. Where we are going it is 20 during the day. I had him shaved a few weeks ago because he was getting way to much hair for me to deal with on top of the kids I watch. I have a little sweater for him to wear but does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep him warm so he don't get sick or am I being over protective? |

| I am pretty new to this winter weather with my yorkie puppy, but it's been very cold here (from 0-20) for a few weeks. I just keep the house warm enough and put a fleece coat on sully when we go out. Got booties too, but they haven't worked so far! I only stay out about 5 minutes at a time, and he's been fine with it so far.

| It isn't usually cold in Texas but the last few days have been horrible. Murfee has been wearing a shirt for the last few days and he has a heavy coat for going outside for any length of time. He also has a couple of sweaters that he is going to wear tonight. If I wasn't grounded from buying anything else right now, he would have pj's to wear at night
