Rudy has been really scratching at his ears so I cleaned them with a ear rinse and q tip.. was not dirty at all... do yorkies ears get dry ?? is there anything i can do ?? thanks

He might have ear mites. Do his ears have an odor?

Maybe an ear infection.

is there anything in his ear canal? stuff that looks like dirt can be ear mites. if he has a yeast infection you could find brown or yellowish goo in his ears. do his ears have an odor to it?

another question: did you just recently put a collar on him? when puppies get collars they are not used to them and start scratching at what appears to be their ears but its really them scratching at the collar.

nothing came out his ears were clear.. he was jsut at vet and they were fine.. yes the collar but it has been a week.. i take it off at nite so i will see if that helps ..
