| Hard to believe he'll really stay that small According to the toy breed weight chart I have a link to, (http://pomderosaranch.com/ToyBreedWeightChart.htm) Max is and has been right on target to be somewhere between 6 - 6 1/2 pounds. I know that isn't "small" to a lot of folks on here but that's a small dog as far as I'm concerned! At the first vet appointment I took him to, he weighed 3 pounds at almost 9 weeks old. The vet told me he figured he'd weighed about 15-18 pounds as an adult! I came here and asked if that sounded right and everyone told me no way! Not that I'd love him any less if he did get that big, I just don't believe it's going to happen. Does their growth slow down quite a bit after about 6 months of age?

| Yeah, I knew there was no way he'd be 15-18 lbs LOL Yes, most slow down quite a bit after about 6-7 months.
