Donating YT 11K Club Member | Where can i get this medicine? When London had a cold they gave me Clavamox at the vet, she got better in 1 week after feeding the drops. Now she has a cold again, she is making the same sounds as when she was and her nose is a little runny, it's been a little cold in my house so i was wondering can i get this medicine anywhere? I don't want to go to the vet again 'cause i know they will just prescribe this again and i know how much to give and i don't want to pay for the visit plus the medicine, so does anyone know where i can get it? Thanks

| Clavimox is an antibiotic. I believe you need a prescription for that. Also, you should go to the vet, b/c if antibiotics work the same on animals as on people, they don't/shouldn't prescribe the same antibiotic twice in a row b/c it has a better chance of causing a resistance in the body, so you might need another.

| Try calling your vet and ask to actually SPEAK to your vet over the phone. Explain that it is the same thing as last time and you were wondering if they could call in that prescription for your dog somewhere or could you just come by and pick it up real quick. that way you won't have to pay for the visit. some vets will do that.

Both of my little one’s were sick last year and I was afraid not to have it on hand so I ordered way more than I needed, and as will happen I ended up not needing any more than what the Vet gave me on that last visit. So if you still need some I would be more than happy to send you some. I probably have about 3 courses, maybe more. My little one’s are only about 2 ½ pounds and if I remember right it was a half a tablet for 7 days. My kids were on it for about 4 months. Send me a PM if you want it as I somehow don’t get any email alerts to threats I reply too. | |

| Zippy was on the liquid form for a week, and I still have about half a bottle of it left if you don't mind partially used.

| Please take BabyFidgette's advice. You need to atleast talk to the vet. It is not a good idea to overdose (or underdose) on antibiotics. They may want to give you a different kind. When Ellie had a UTI and it came back with the one kind, the vet tried a different kind.

| if you find the medicine online for a better price, most vets will match the price. my vet did when i went in to get more interceptor for mocha and they were going to charge me double until i told them that i usually buy stuff from Drs. Foster and Smith and their prices are more reasonable. they looked it up and then matched the price.
