| Adding a yorkie baby to the fam? My husband and I are thinking about adding a new yorkie baby to our family. We have a few concerns though. Butters is 1 1/2. If we got another puppy would it effect Butters personality? Do they tend to get jealous? We have a Great Dane and we got him when butters was about 4 months. They have always gotten along great and there has never been any jealousy problems. I would just like some input. Butters has the best personality of any dog I have ever seen and I would hate to see that change.

Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | We recently added a new little girl to our family. We've had Marty since he was 10 weeks old and now he's 2 1/2. Maddie, the new little girl, is four. There have been very few problems with the transition. The only time we have problems is when they are both trying to eat or when they both want a certain toy. Otherwise, they are both doing great! I think a lot of has to do with their personalities. I'm sure Butter would adjust just fine though. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had Cali when I just had Maya my pom with no problems. Then I added Pixie a year later. Pixie and Maya get along great. Pixie picks on Cali but they get along. It is so nice having more than one since they have each other when were not around. Sounds like Butters would do fine.
