| Need some input.... A friend of mine who is also a future yorkie puppy owner referred me to a site advertising free ( some registered) yorkies for adoption. Is there something i need to know about this? With all the internet scams these days, it just seems fishy to me. There's even one for adoption here in my small town. Is this a total scam, or too good to be true? Site: http://www.yardsaleca.com/index.php?ct=Dogs |

| I saw an ad like this in an online classified section of my hometown newspaper. I inquired and the person replied saying they were out of country in some place in Africa and wanted money to ship the puppy, etc. Turns out there are a ton of these scams going around. I would definitely stay away. |

| I ran into one of these and it was a scam. They want you to send money for the traveling of the puppy, and then they say they'll send it to you, however they live in some weird place. Unfortuneately there are a lot of these going around now.

| Well... its not that i want to pay a "cheaper" price... a friend told me about it and even without seeing the ad for myself, i told her it was probably a scam. I went through the issue when i had ads online trying to sell things, i had TONS of people trying to scam me. Its sad when people actually fall for it. Thanks for the head up. |
