| Just not sure on what to do. A breeder has offered me a little AKC Female 3 lbs 1 1/2 years old. She has Ch in her pedigree and is a sweet heart. Peepad and goes out side both. prances around like she knows shes all that. lol. beautiful long hair. and shes offering her to me for $300.00 Helthy up to date on shots. She was holding her back to breed , but she didnt get big enough and so shes rehoming her. I have been wanting another female and planned on getting one, But I was wanting a puppy , I feel that my two lap babies would adjust alot better bring in a baby , then an adult. So thats why I just dont know what to do, Im afraid if I get her. they will fight and Then I would have to rehome her. Hubby thinks there is no way my two would accept another dog being a female or male adult, He said their set in their ways and are just to close to us to let another into the family. What do you all think? |

| I don't know, she sounds like an angel...! Why do you think your two would accept a younger dog better?

| This is just my 2 cents but having had lots of dogs come and go through rescue I find the boys adjust a lot easier than the girls but given time and patience the girls have always worked it out. The girls have always been a little "bitcher" to each other and also to the boys but they do work it out. Mine are all spayed/neutered so I am sure that has helped somewhat. I am guessing this little girl is under a year of age so still has lots of puppy in her but probably has learned to get along with older females. She sounds adorable. Ask the breeder if you can have a trail run with her to see how everyone gets along. It will take a couple of weeks to see if they will accept her.

| I got Sugar at 17 months and Spike and Gracie both accepted him with no problem. I'd just follow your heart. If you love her and feel like it's meant to be them go for it. If you feel like you'll miss the puppy stages then wait. Good luck with your decision!

| I have been tossing around the idea of getting another yorkie for a few months now or even becoming a foster home. I only have one female just over a year old and she adores ALL other animals. My only concern is the same as yours. If you are unsure about bringing her home ask if you can do a trail before you go all the way. If it doesn't work out at least you gave it a shot, and who know you just might be able to find her a wonderful home here on YT and keep a close eye on her! Best of luck! |

| I think you should bring her to me and test her out hehehehe...I say give it a whirl...I am sure it wont be perfect but I have a feeling it will work out...they might appreciate her more than a puppy bouncing in their face lol...they may just get along famously!! And the benefits of her being housebroken and pee pad trained already definetly tip the scales in her favour..GO FOR IT!! And if it dosent work out...Ill buy her!! |

| Maybe see if you can Do a visit with her and see if everyone likes each other. Do it out of there natural homes maybe at a park or something. I bet they would do just great. Not that she is a Yorkie but I got Amy at two years old and she actually adjusted faster and easier than Pixie has and Pixie was 5 months. Good luck with what ever you decide |

| I agree with the trial run if she's willing. If she's as sweet & cute as you say she is, who could resist...it may take a little bit to get everyone adjusted but I'm sure you'd be able to look back and say it was well worth it!!! Good luck in whatever you decide...if you go visit...be sure to take pics!

I know you have been wanting to get another for awhile. Maybe this one is meant to be yours. She sounds adorable, maybe introducing her gently into your home, she will be accepted overwhelmingly by Mickey and Minnie, are you still thinking of getting your Mom one? Maybe this would be the ideal one for her. THINK POSITIVE, oh my goodness such a great price and she would get such a loving home with you and your family, or your Mother Hugs to you from Jack and myself | |
