| Sock sweater.... You know last year you found those fuzzy socks everywhere....not so much now! But I was able to find some finally...spent more than I wanted to at about $7 per pair but they were soooooooooooooo soft. Anyway, came home and went to cutting till I had a perfect fit for Delilah and she does not seem to mind it like she does other clothes...she is passed out in my lap with it on right now in a very deep sleep! My worry is the material is that microfiber type stuff and there are little pieces of the stuff that are coming off the cuts. Will this stop or continue till there is no more sweater? Anyone had any luck with these "sweaters"?

| She is the worlds worse about having her pic made! The first one she decided to shake her head as the shutter closed...ugh. The last one is her big brother taking a break from reading the posts to supervise the picture taking. This one is grey and the other one is a soft pink...that's right, I will be wearing one grey sock and one pink sock around the house! What we do for our babies!!!

| Maybe sew the ends up? Just fold it over a little and run a seam in it. That should help the fraying.

| I tried to make one of these. It actually looks really cute, but mine was kinda type around Riley's neck. I'm going to try to find some bigger socks and make more. Lol. Even if I have to get plain colored socks, these will go great under Riley's sweaters. His sweaters are still a little big so these will help keep him warm and help them fit better. |

| the "fuzzy socks" i have made sweaters out of have all freyed and they dont stitch up that well. try making them out of a material that you can stitch the ends up so there will be ne freying. ive posted this picture on a nother thread, but thought it might help you too...you can kind of see the stitching ive done on this one.. |

| I saw some fuzzy socks like that at the Dollar Tree, they had lots of colors. They probably aren't the best of quality, but at least if they didn't last you wouldn't be out much money! I would sew around the edge with a zig-zag stitch to prevent fraying, and that way it would still have a little stretch to it.
