| need some suggestions Okay, here goes..Ginger is going on 14 weeks, well, she sleeps in her xpen, in her bed everynight..until she's 100% housebroken, and done with the chewing, this is where she will stay..anyway, she did so well in there for the last 2 1/2 weeks, then 2 nights ago, she started with this waking up around 1:00 and fussing really bad, moving the xpen and tearing up the pee pads(hubby said probably because shes got run of the one end of the house during the day, and he may be right)..lastnight, it was 4:00 when she did this. she moves the pen in where she's just about blocked even..I'm thinking of running shortly to the pet store to see if they have anything to give her to help her sleep at night that won't hurt her(something herbal)..any suggestion would be greatly appreciated..Thanks in advance Sherrie |

| What time are you putting her to bed? Maybe she's getting up to go potty and then staying up to play for a bit till she gets tired again. My two did that at that age Maybe put a washable pee pad in the xpen for her so she doesn't rip it up and lots of toys for her to entertain herself with.

| Maybe your fur baby is just restless. I find that my Tobi doesn't really get tired enough to sleep unless he's had a good run or walk around. Maybe give that a try...then your baby will be TOO TIRED to push the xpen around!

| You want to hear the funny thing, the first night she did this(2 nights ago),we played more than usual, and even took her outside for the first time to get fresh air and let her run with the other 3 little ones..I would have thought she would have really slept good that night.. Now, she's all cuddled up in her bed, and I can barely keep my eyes open..I may crawl in there with her |

| Yeah maybe eight is too early for her. We go about 10 and try to keep them all up till then. Then we let them out, and have them go to sleep by 10:30.

YT 500 Club Member | We have had problems a few times, at different stages with waking during the night. Usually we just took her out to potty, and she went back to sleep, but it was usually short lived.

It might help to increase her exercise and tire her out a little more.

| Her pee pad is in the xpen with her..she wasn't having problems at night, until 2 nights ago, after we kept her up almost all day, and had taken her outside to let her run in the back yard..that's whats got me so confused..is it seems like the more we tire her out during the day, the less she sleeps at night.. |
