| Anyone go to any Howl-o-ween Parties? I took Emma and Milli to one today that was sponsored by our Three Dog Bakery, and there were SO many dogs and their owners there! They had the normal stuff going on in the store, and then outside they had a pup-cake walk, a bobbing for hotdogs contest, an agility training obstacle course, and a few booths offering pet massages, training classes, and poop-scooping services. I went with a friend of mine and her poodle mix. Emma and Milli wore their jack-o-lantern shirts, and Zoe the poodle mix was dressed up as a "Purple People Eater"-she had on a purple sweater, purple wings, and a horn with one big googly eye on it! (you know, that song, "there was a one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater...") She was super-cute, and my friend did a great job on her costume! We didn't stay too long, because the dogs were just on sensory overload, and were so excited but tired at the same time. There are a couple of others in our community, one at a Petstore , one at both Petco and Petsmart, and one at a doggie daycare too. I'm not sure if we'll go to another one this week, but this was fun. It was great to see all the other dogs dressed up, and some of the owners dressed up too! We even saw little Bentley who we met at the yorkie meetup a couple weeks back!!! He was dressed up as a little skunk-soooo adorable! Milli remembered him, and went right up to him and gave him kisses-guess who has a little crush on Bentley!? She was such a flirt, but who could resist his cute little face? Some of our other favorite costumes were: -Two owners dressed up as ketchup and mustard bottles, and their small dogs were dressed as hot dogs! -Two huskies were dressed as "Hooters" waitresses-complete with T-shirts and orange hot pants! -A large, golden colored labradoodle dressed as a scarecrow I wish I had pictures of them all to share with you, but darn it, I forgot my camera today! Anyone else going to any pet Halloween parties?

| we went to pet fun day last wknd, which is sort of like a halloween party that the humane society does to raise money for their spay/neuter fun. Moms dog Schatze was a tootsie roll, there were a bunch of dogs dressed up so she didn't win. friday I took Slade to my town's Cotton Pickin Harvest Festival and they had a costume contest for pets. So I took Slade, I didn't have a chance to finish his costume, so I just reused the Tootsie roll costume I had made schatzie, even though it was rather big and he won 1st place! (but there were only 2 dogs )

| I'm such a nerd.... Last week we went to the PetSmart Howl-O-Ween, he won third place. Yesteray we went to a trick-or-treating pet parade, and right after that we went to another Halloween event at a pet boutique and he won in the costume contest. |
