| I miss Max and Abbie :( As some of you know, I had back surgery a month ago and I was told that I was not able to lift anything over 5 lbs. My parents came here (they live 5-6 hours away) to take are of me for 3 weeks following the surgery and when they left, they took Max and Abbie with them . Since Max and Abbie are both well over 5 lbs, I wouldn't be able to take care of them by myself so they have been at my parents' house for a week. I hear that they are doing well at "grandma's" house but I miss them so much. I won't be able to go to my parents' for another another 10 days .

| Thanks. I'm doing well--it's been 4 weeks since my surgery and I'm getting stronger every day--but I miss my babies. When I got home from the hospital, my mom used to put Abbie on the bed with me and she used to just snuggle up with me. She was my 'therapy dog.' Max was only allowed supervised visits on my bed because he's really jumpy and would climb all over me, smothering me with kisses. The sudden movements were a bit too painful. I'm going through withdrawal...can you tell?

| I am so sorry you are missing your babies. Just keep thinking of all the fun they are having at grandma and grandpas!!! I hop you get better soon. (I had back surgery ~ noninvasive type, last January. I was told not to lift anything over 5 lbs too. Moose was 6 lbs at the time. My Doctor it was ok to lift him if I was careful. I guess I was lucky) Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
