Kallie will sometimes pee or poop in her crate and she will just lay in it.. what do i do

Hello

I'm sorry this is happening...does this happen all the time, or does it occur only after she's been in the crate for some time? How old is Kallie?

If she is young, maybe she is still not used to holding for a long time yet. If she's in the crate for awhile and does this, maybe you can take her out sooner and help her go outside or on a pad.

I hope some other people have suggestions for you. Good luck!

For the most part she is only in the crate at night but if I go somewhere that she cannot go with me then it is usually less than 2 hours and I will come back to her just laying in her mess.. She is 12 weeks old.. She doesn't do it all the time but usually right after a bath....lol..

How big is her crate? sometimes when you give them too much space in their crate they will use the potty on one end and then lay in the other...Lucy sometimes pees or poops in her crate but then cries until we clean it out and she will try to push it out the sides of it but she does not lay in it....hmm where did you get your puppy from? Sometimes pups who have been in cages most of their lives are okay lying in their own feces.
