| I think I confused C.J. about crate and potty I need help please. I have had CJ since he was 8 weeks he is now going on 4 months old. I am crate training and I have never had this much trouble with it. My other dogs never messed in their beds (crates) unless they were sick. But CJ since day one poo's and pees right in front of the door and he stays in the back of the crate. Almost every night all except 2 times..... I made it real small like I have read here and he still went in front of the door. (In the morning he jumps over it). So I thought I would put a small pee pad in front of the door and just a towel for him to lie on in the back. Now he is using the pee pad to cover up the poo & pee and then he crys. My husband get up at 6:30 every morning and he all ready done the deed. Should I take the pee pad out and make the crate smaller? I also tried using a cat bed with the hood and had it push up close to the door. He hiked his little leg and tried to pee through the bars( he missed) and then he would poop at the door. (He must of stuck his little hinney against the door) Sorry this is so long but this is what I've done so far and he isn't coopperating with me Any ideas please........... starlene mom to Taffy Baby and CJ |
