| excited pee a coworker has a female lab puppy. She's about 4 months old. And whenever he comes into the house, she gets excited and pees. I told him to try avoiding her when he came in, not looking at her, greeting her etc to try to divert her attention. But she's still doing it. The puppy is around many other people (it's a family farm), she's not crated or anything and she doesn't do the excited pee around anyone but him. Any other ideas?

| Oliver did it for a little over a year. I started not talking to him when I came in, or talking softly, he eventually grew out of it. Hopefully your friends pup will too.

| Gosh! My Daisy, an almost 9 month old yorkie does that too, to this day! but its mostly with strangers and pretty rarely me. We always try to tell guests to ''ignore'' her (I know, it sounds mean) and she usually doesnt pee then. I mean, they usually find it so hard to ignore her because, number 1, she's so cute and number 2, she wont stop ''jumping'' up and down..lol..everyone thinks her legs are gonna snap or something! She def a determined lil one! The vet thinks she'll grow out of it as she gets older but ''excited pee'' is something that really cant be enforced.

| This is completely natural. Gracie is 100% pad or outside trained. When I take her in to visit my boss at work, she gets so excited to see him that she usually spills a few drops, usually on some paperwork he has sitting on the floor!
