| I think I need Help !!!! Today has not been a good day. Izzie has been doing soooo well with doing her duties in the living room on her potty pad (wiz dog in one spot and washable potty pad close to it in another spot) These seem to be the most frequent spots she uses.........but for some reason today she has decided to be completely defiant....I still have her potty pad (wiz dog) in the same place that it has always been in the living room...then she also has a reusable pad down another spot that she decided she liked to use....I got one of those tents yesterday and put it down where she usually chose to do her business if not going on the wiz dog. Put her washable potty pads in it.... Well this morning she pooped right next to the tent, I told her no, no, and put her back into her xpen in the kitchen, only to let her out a bit later and she pottied behind the tent, back into the xpen she went. After about an hour I let her back out...she went over to the sliding glass door and pee'd....(which she has never done) back into the xpen again....uggggggggggggg. I then let her back out and took her outside....she played around and ran back in doors and proceded to poop again on the carpet by the front door......I am beside myself right now....she is back in her x pen in the kitchen....please help !!!!!!! what should I do ?????? It just seems like she is being totally defiant....and she has been doing sooooo well....getting good girl treats every time she used her potty pad...now why all of a sudden this is happening??? Can anyone help me with this...I'm at a total loss as to what to do...is will be 5 months old in two days....

| Try to be patient . Remember she's just a baby. Maybe the addition of the tent has confused her as to where she's suppose to go. When you catch her in the act tell her "no, bad dog" very firmly and than show her where she is to go. Leave a pad with a bit of pee on it so that she will know that tha's her spot. Just be consistant, she'll get it.

| Oh gosh, maybe the tent totally threw her off?? So she started to go potty around it?? I don't know. But after she goes in the wrong spot, try putting her where she is supposed to go. Maybe she's getting confused because after she goes potty around the tent or in a place she's not supposed to, she gets put in the x-pen instead of being shown where to go. Good luck!! I know how difficult it is to potty train.

| Thank you all...I think I did throw her off...Just thought she would like a bit of privacy while going potty... After all I just want the best for my baby....I think now I have gotten her sooooo confused she doesn't know what to do....I went out for about 20 min this afternoon and she even pottied on the floor in her xpen instead of on the potty pad in her xpen....I feel like I have just undone everything that I have accomplished with her this past month.....ugggggggggg what a bad mom I am !!!!!!

| You're not a bad mom!!! You just thought you were helping her You're doing your best, and sometimes these babies take a little longer to potty train. I don't think you have undone everything. Just be consistent with whatever you do It's important that you put her on the pad when you see her peeing/pooping in the wrong place so that she knows to go there. Putting her back in her x-pen makes her think that's where she's supposed to go. Good luck!! And keep us updated
