| Michael Evans book...anyone tried it? Hi, I read the Job Michael Evans guide to housetraining book and I'm wondering if anyone else has too. So far I think its actually helping...*knock on wood* I've been using the umbilical cord method whenever I take Miso out of his crate and he hasn't had an accident yet and I've also been doing the punishing techniques. I've only been doing this for 1 week so who knows it might backfire on me soon, but so far so good just wanted to see if anyone else had success with this book or not. |

| I read it a long time ago with my big dogs. I really liked it. I need to reread it for Lily though.

| What is the umbilical cord method? Keeping them attached to you when they are out of their crate? |

| The umbilical cord method is just attaching their leash to say a belt loop on your pants and basically have them next to you 24/7 when they are out of their crate. |
