I Love Thor Donating Member | I can't take him anymore. I just don't know what to do with Thor anymore. My nerves are GONE. I am stressed to the MAX. I can barely breath normally because of the weight I've been caring around. Last night I reinstated crate training at night. He used to be fine with his crate but now he hates it. Everyone said just let him whine, and do not attend to his whining behavior. Well did you know that dogs can whine/bark from 1.30 until 4.30???????? I've simply had it. Finally when he shut up whining, I thought he was dead, cause he was hyperventilating so much. Thanks for hearing me out. I've had a really tough 3 weeks with and the move and all that. |

| I know you were having some issues after you moved...have you talked with your vet or someone for advice on Thor's behavior? I know they can bark for what seems like forever when they want something. What happens if he sleeps with you? |

I Love Thor Donating Member | I haven't talked to my vet. We don't even have one here yet. He WANTS to sleep with me! I know he's having changes, but he did sleep alone when he was younger. He keeps my b/f up at night when he sleeps in the room with us. This is so exhausting, I just can not take it. |

| Oh dear! This is not good. Could he maybe need more time with you? Are you playing with him as much as you used to? Is he missing playmates from your old house? I'm trying to help you think of reasons he might be acting this way. Hmmm! Thor you'd better straighten up or we are going to report you to the Yorkie Police! Stop stressing out your adoring mama or she won't adore you any more. |

| Did he sleep with you until your boyfriend came into the picture? Maybe he feels like he's been replaced. I would talk to a vet or a trainer and see what you can do...there has to be something that will make all 3 of you happy. |

He just whines at me ALL the time!! I'm not giving in to him anymore. I ignore his whines. I've talked to some trainers and they say I'm too soft with him. GOSH, he's making life difficult right now, and causing stress on my new relationship...AND I didnt sleep last night cause of him. OMG, sorry for ranting. | |

| AWWWWWWW! He is just sad that he is no longer with his playmates and can no longer sleep in bed with his mama. I know Hootie and Hobbs would be so incredibly sad and would whine all night, too, if I took them from my bed and made them start sleeping in a crate. It's just all a huge, and probably difficult, adjustment for Thor. Maybe you can put his crate on your nightstand next to your bed so he won't feel completely abandoned. |

| I am sorry you are going through that. Some dogs just really have a hard time with confinement. My Jewels never would get used to staying in her xpen and I gave up and let her stay out. I had a real hard time potty training her. I hope things get better for you soon

| I'm so sorry to hear your woes girl. it's so completely understandable why you are feeling the way you do. Yes, we understand the hours of crying/whining/barking in the crate. we had that when Zoe was a pup. Doesyour baby get toys and a blankie in there? sounds like he is being stimulated. I understand the potty training fustrations too. At almost 1, she still has occasional accidents and it's so fustrating that they don't just 'get it'. or how she doesn't pee/poop on the pad in the ex-en (or worst off she likes to roll her poo around the expen) Hang in there, maybe he will get it. |
