| Wee pad in litter box, no go This girl will NOT get in there to pee or poop! I bought a clear plastic box and cut the front out, and put her pee pad in there. I keep it in the room I'm in the most, and she is also confined to this room. Any suggestions? |

| I would be interested to hear how this works out, I have tried it and sometimes they would use it, other times not. Nancy |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has to spots with wee wee pads. One is the playpen in my bedroom which now is used only for her wee wee pad and she just hops in and uses it. The other is in the front of the house in a pad holder that is flat. You may want to try one of those holders.

| I didn't give her enough time! I'd put her in there several times, and just expected her to pee on the spot! But I noticed since I have her confinded to the kitchen, she is using it! I went back to Dollar General, and saw they had kitty litter boxes for $2.50 each, and bought 2 of them. Cut the fronts out and wala....doggie pee pad place. Putting those 2 where the other pads were, and hope she uses those too. Maybe when she poops now, won't carry it with her a few feet out of the box, and no worry if she accidentally gets too close to the edge of the pads! |

| Try putting one of her 'used' wee-wee pads in the litter box...that way she will know that's where she's supposed to go. I had to do that with my boys and it worked for them...they always use the litter box when they can't get outside. |

| She started using it! I just didn't really give enough time, and thought as soon as I put her in it, she should go. After keeping her in the kitchen only, noticed pee spots on the wee pad in there. |

| I got tired of Gracie playing with her pee pads. Even with a holder she managed to have them all over her ex-pen. I just bought a litter pan yesterday and put one of her used pee pads in it. I still have a pad next to it. She won't use the litter pan. Perhaps I should get rid of that extra pad so she will think harder about using the pan.

| cut the litter box? What did you use to cut the litter box? Like a box cutter? I bought 2 litter boxes, hoping my Roscoe would go on his pads in the box, as he sometimes goes on the edge.... but he didn't want anything to do with that! But maybe he would if it was easier to just walk right into the box?! Thanks!

| I used a box cutter to cut the front out. But please, please be very careful doing this, you can cut the krap out of yourself easy! I'm not about to say cutting it with a box cutter was easy, or beautiful job! But the ugly part, I just kept going over it till I got the sharp parts down to nothing. I had to use a straight edge to get the bottom and side marked out. I penciled that in. Then went over it slowly a bunch of times with the box cutter. Good luck, and if its not "beautiful" use the pee pad to cover the ugly up, lol. |
