| YAAAAYYYY Tinkerbell!!!! I can't believe what she did! Everytime I take Tinkerbell outside I have been having her scratch the back door and then I open it and she runs out to potty. (Same idea as the bell only I was too lazy to buy a bell) Just now I was making breakfast and I heard her going to town scratching something, I turn around and she is scratching the back door! I open it and she darts out and poops right away. It was a lot, so she really had to go and she held it in the house! I can't believe it! I just went through the worst two days of her pottying/pooping in the house! I thought she was going through a set back, I guess she just got worse before she got better! Anyway I'm going to knock on some wood now just in case I'm bragging on her a little too early! I'm so proud of her! |

| I took her paw and scratched it, told her good girl, then opened the door and said potty. I did this two times then the next time we went out I said "get the door, get the door" and scratched at the door myself with both hands and she copied me. Now she knows what "get the door" means. I still tell her to do it everytime I take her out if she didn't do it already. It also helps that I taught my maltese to do it as well as a puppy so when I say get the door, Chloe and Tinkerbell do it together. Tinkerbell does it really well for needing to go poop. She's not real good at telling me when she needs to go potty yet. |
