| Yorkie Puppy and a Bigger Dog- How to Introduce? My husband and I just bought an eight week old Yorkie puppy today. She is very sweet but she is afraid of our boxer mix dog. The boxer mix is two years old and still a bit of a puppy at heart. She is a sweetheart and just wants to play with the puppy. We've allowed them to interact only a very small amount and so far the puppy is growling and freaking out when the big dog comes near. We are keeping them separate for now until Lady gets settled in. Just wondering if anyone has advice on how to introduce these guys in a good way? I know to keep them at the same level, and to first let them smell each others butts and not to go face to face. |

| Hi guys, she is much better today and has been playing with the big dog. My older dog is being very gentle and it's going well.We are working on teething right now, she loves to get her mouth on anything! |
