| My baby's Top Knot Issues Quick question about top knots. Should I be using the small elastics bands or is there something better that does not break the hair as much. My Daisy Mae is at the stage where it requires 2 bands, its seems like when I take her hair down there is hair on the bands. I'm worried that I am causing her hair to break off. If I only use a covered barrett she has that out in about 10 minutes and her hair is in her eyes all over again. Any tips for this? I purchased the elastic bands at Sally's beauty supply. |

| If I use plastic bands, I always cut the band off instead of pulling it out. I try not to use the plastic bands very oftent, though. I get the mini scrunchies. Much gentler on the hair. You can get a pack from the dollar store or walmart usually. If you can't find any, I have also bought some from Bow Biz.

| You need band cutters from Mimimomo, a.k.a. Jenny, at toplinepet.com Prevents damage from pulling out bands.

| Ziva and Abby were wearing the cheap dollar store scrunchies that we threw out every few times. I am surprised how long the "Goodies" brand lasts and stays in. They are way more expensive but I don't have to redo all day long. |
