| Nature's Miracle doesn't disinfectant? Hi everyone, I know that Nature's Miracle is the staple for odor/stain and stain remover, but it doesn't disinfect, that's gross! Am I supposed to be using something else to kill the germs? Thanks! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | You don't need a disinfectant if it's urine, urine is sterile, no bacteria in it unless your dog has a bladder infection. The ingredient in urine that causes the smell and the color is the protein and Nature’s Miracle has enzymes that “eat” the protein. Poop is another matter; you would want to disinfect that if it smears.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | You or the dog would be experiencing a painful infection. E.coli is found in feces though.

| Yes, it causes most of your UTI's. Normally it's found in the intestines, but can be spread by those who wipe back to front, which smears fecal matter onto the Urethra.
