| I ordered off of Amazon.com. It's made by Best Pet. Here's the link... Amazon.com: Best Pet Folding Play Pen - Blue -... I'm pretty sure I ordered the medium. Was only $36. I like it because it does not zip or snap on the bottom, so the pup can't escape, like I read others do. You can zip a mesh top on it if your dog is an escape artist. My only complaint is that the zippered doors are pretty cheap. One side broke already. But I have found that if I keep it taut as I'm zipping it's much better. It comes with a carrying case. I would say this would not work for pups that will chew through stuff. The mesh would not last long in that case. Ozzy LOVES his playpen - but I think that has most to do with him getting his Kong treat when he goes in it. I did not try to contain him in it for about 10 days after I got it. I just put all his favorite stuff in it and left both doors rolled up, so he could get used to it, and I'd hide treats in it every day. I also put my old housecoat in the bottom so he has my scent along with his toys and bed and water. I like it much better than his crate because he can move around and not feel too confined but at the same time I don't have to worry about finding messes when I come home

| If running errands mine have free run of the house. They go to grandpa and grandma (my parents) when I go to work.

| My 4 are gated in the kitchen. I would never trust them to roam around the house. Proof of that is the mess I come home to at times.

| I gate Moses in a small hallway off the family room that is all tiled. But I really need to get an x pen so I can keep him in the kitchen. I would just gate the kitchen off, but I have throw rugs under my kitchen table and under my stools at the counter and I don't trust him to not pee on them. But with an xpen, it would give him a little more room and he would be able to look out the back sliding doors. He goes to day care once or twice a week, and is home the other days.

| Zhoie will be 3 in Jan., and we are probably not the norm. I work from home so we are together practically 24/7, but when I go out, I say one of two things. If I say..you can go this time...she gets excited, but if I say mommy has to go out and you can't go, she will scurry on to her safe place. It's her covered crate in our sunroom, we call it her house. She loves her house and goes there quite often on her own. I have went to the store or whatever and have left the door open and she still isn't out when I come back. I can't imagine I will ever leave her out, only because I feel more secure with her in there, like in case of a fire or something...when they break in she can be easily found. I have a sticker on the outside french door in that room to alert there is a pet inside. I'm really anal like that.

| We put up a gate , and they have a hallway, bathroom, and their bedroom, where they have water, and all their separate kennels. When i come home one always is waiting for me at the gate, the other two wait till i get in their room before they decide to come crawling out from under their blankets in their kennels. They have plenty of room, and they never have any accidents. I take one with me to work a couple days a week cause he loves going with me. I am a vet tech/groomer, so the three days a week i groom, he gets to have free run of my grooming room. This seems to work really well for us. THey have lots of room, so i dont feel guilty. THey are usually home for about 3 hrs in the morning, i come home for lunch, and they come out to potty and get treats and play, and then i go back to work, and they r home for another 2-3 hrs before my husband comes home. |

| Jada is almost 5 yrs old and Bogie is 2.5. I keep the bedroom and bathroom doors closed and they have the rest of the house to run in. When they were younger I kept them gated in the kitchen/dining room.

| Question about the folding playpen, Brutus likes to stand on his hind legs and scratch - is the mesh sturdy enough that he won't rip through it?

| No, it isn't. I bought Harry one, when he was a tiny puppy. He had very 'diggy' little paws and managed to make a tiny hole. Then he worried away at that bit with his sharp little baby teeth - next thing I knew he was greeting me at the front door when I came home He's not called Harry Houdini for nothing!
