| potty training. For a long time Autumn was doing good with waking me up during the middle of the night if she needed to use the bathroom, now... either I do not hear her, or she just jumps off the bed and uses it next to my door. I guess I have to start putting her in her cage in the middle of the night, even though I do not want to = [ She uses her weepad things when we're downstairs (to pee on and sometimes poop) but sometimes she doesn't. How can I get her to bark and let me know she needs to use the bathroom? = [ HELP |

| I crate my guy at night. It is really helpful. He holds his potty and does his business first thing in the morning. He did bark out one night and I took him to his wee wee pad, and he did his business, then I put him back in the crate to sleep. He still sleeps right next to me, just in a crate. I hope this is helpful. I am not sure how to train them to bark when on the bed. There is a no puppy in bed rule here. He has his own bed that he uses throughout the day. But we were concerned with his bones that he would jump off our bed and break his legs. We have a super high mattress, even I have to jump to get in bed. |

| I am not sure how to train them to bark when they need to go out either. If you find out how let me know mine just look at you when they need to go out. They hold it during the night.

| I'm not sure how to get them to bark, but we had the same problem.. except she would just jump off and do her business on the floor or in the bed a few times (peed in the bed). And after that and then the worry of her jumping off and hurting her sicne she is so tiny.. I put her in her crate right now when we go to sleep. I get up once during the night -around 3-4 AM to take her outside, and once she does both, she comes to bed with us and stays til around 6 or so.. Shes really good at holding it while in her crate--she has never messed in there!

| I am not sure how to get them to bark. I would agree that she probably needs to be crated for a while, or maybe set your alarm for about the time that she has been pottying. I just got Lucy Saturday night and she is doing pretty good at pottying outside but she will NOT use her potty pads. she thinks they are a toy. I tried putting some of her pee on there and she has also went number 2 on one when we caught her trying to go on the floor but she just lays down on them or sits or tries to pull them around the room. I know she will not want to go outside when it is raining or snowing so I need advice quick!

| Set an alarm to go off at approx time she needs to go. When she gets bigger, she can hold it all night.
