| Gidget (poodle, deceased) was given to me at 7mos, she was pretty good at that point. Satia (sheperd/wolfhound mix, also deceased) was trained 7 days after we brought her home, she was 8wks, just an incredible dog! Montana (Golden Ret) was about 5 months til she was trained, love her alot, but she's just not the sharpest knife in the drawer! Kansas (Jack Russell) was also about 5 months. She was my first experience with a terrier. They are soooo smart, but also have mind of their own. She potty trained when SHE was ready! Hunter (German Shep) was trained at 10 weeks, he's very smart and REALLY wants to please people. Now, my Yorkie, Indiana, is 7 1/2 mos and not completely trained. He was doing pretty good til he had his liver shunt surgery and then we kind of back slid. This past week has been our best. He has only had a couple accidents and I am getting better at reading his signs. All my dogs have been trained to go outside. I have never used the pads or paper. |

| Chewy is 7 months old and has gone on the pee pad for a while now. Since he was about 5 months I have had no pee problems. Poo on the other hand is not that good. He will poo about 60% of the time on the pad. I really don't know how to remedy this but I think a little turd is better than tons of pee on my rugs... |

| Riley and TJ are both litter box trained. Riley was pretty much perfect at 6-7 months. TJ is 7 months old and (up until today) hasn't had an accident for 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, there was a lot of stuff going on at the house today and he had three accidents, so as you can see, we are still working on getting him potty trained. |

| Bentley is 5 mos. yesterday and a work in progress. He has hit this stubborn phase where he givens no signs and all the sudden there it is. He also has a habit of peeing 3 times, whether out or not. Sometimes we are lucky and find the 1st round quick enough to get him outside for 2 and 3. We have apad down near the front door but he almost never uses it. We also have a schnauzer and have been getting him wound up to go out until he barks hoping that Bentley will catch on too.

| Gucci is a year old and is pee pad train. She pretty much uses the pad all the time but if is soil she pees in the edge so it hits the floor. SO I have to make sure to chenge it often. She poos on the pads also but sometimes they get stuck on her hair and I dont notice and I will find it in another part of the apt. I prefer to pick those up, is mush easier than pee. SO I will say she is 98% trained with the occasional accident that are my fault. |

| Potty trained hummmmmmmm ??? lol lets see Gucci has been trained since 6 mts. but she has accidents only with number two, and she is now 15 mts.old. She is trained to go outside also, but now with the weather changing she will be inside and hopefully I have to retrain her to do number two on wee wee pad.. She knows when she she is wrong for she hides from me.. <the cutest scene> when she is hiding I know she went to the bathroom where she wasn't suppose to...lol These yorkies are soo intelligent, but Stubborn..lol Gina |

| Fagan is almost 6 months old and is also still a work in progress although I think we are getting there. About 2-3 weeks ago he started yipping/whining at the door to go outside and has been consistant with it although we still take him out without him "asking" after sleep, eating and play. He has been accident free for a couple of weeks now. I still keep a close eye on him when he's not in the kitchen and we still have baby gates up in the kitchen. We also use an x-pen when we will be gone for a while and then he uses pee pads, but is able to "hold it" longer now. |

| I was just thinking that this question should have been asked in two parts, because some of us have someone home with them all day, like I do, and others are HOME ALONE! It does make a difference, so I don't think you will get as good of a picture of things without knowing that, too.

| He's 7 months old and 80% there! Good luck with yours, remember to be patient and always positive reinforcement. I find giving my yorkie a treat after he goes outside does the trick. |
