| ![]() Lily is 10 months old and she barks at EVERYTHING!! She just won't listen at all and we have tried everything I can think of with her. She barks if she is on a leash and sees another dog she just goes CRAZY!! She barks at the TV and barks at EVERYTHING even in the middle of the night and jumps out of our bed and just goes CRAZY if she hears the slightest sound!! She is smart but she just doesn't mind ANYTHING!! She wants to "go" but she still won't come to us or let us pick her up to "go"!! It is like she is getting worse instead of better so I guess it has to be ME doing something really wrong with her!! I try to be "pack leader" (LOL) but it is hard when she doesn't listen to ANYTHING!! PLEASE HELP!! |

| ![]() It ain't easy with these vocal little guys but it can be done .. and the way is a combination of good cop bad cop ![]() bring your pup around a situation where she is likely to bark right before she gets into position ... and you can tell They will stare and stiffen up break her gaze ... call her - give her a toy anything that will stop her from seeing what upsets her best to have her on a leash when you do this it's easier to get her attention if she barks ... do the samething and say ... No bark! if she stops .. give her a treat and a Good Girl! if she doesn't pull her away from the area until she stops No talking to her this will only serve to reinforce her being vocal
