| HELP!! 2 questions aout Potty and sleep! Ok so my baby girl is 5 months old, she is yet to let me know when she has to go potty durning the day, she will just squat down and start peeing. During the night she wakes me at 4:30 am on the dot every night to go outside. Please help!! I take her outside frequently during the day, reward her with treats, and I am even trying to train her to ring a bell to go outside. WHAT IS GOING ON, why won't she learn to potty outside? |

| Well she must know you are sleeping - and therefore can't see her. Are you only doing outdoors training or do you also have a pad for her to go on. I know a lot of people don't like the pad - but oh, it is so nice when you have one that doesn't announce they need to go out. My Roxy is 7 and she doesn't always tell me - but she does have a pad & she often goes to use it. I think they are like little toddlers that you are trying to potty train - they are too busy playing & enjoying life until that very second when they have to go. A couple things, you may just have to watch her to know her clues. Also, if you can't be with her every second, then I suggest limiting where she can be in the house. Hopefully others will have other suggestions
